What technology do we need?

A laptop, desktop or tablet with a reliable internet connection, plus a quiet space where your child can concentrate. We use a secure, browser-based classroom, so there’s no complex software to install. A microphone is required; a webcam is recommended but optional.

Which age groups do you support?

This course is designed for pupils in Years 5–11 and those resitting GCSE.

What if my child misses a session?

If you let us know at least 24 hours in advance, we’ll provide a short recap video and practice sheet so they can catch up. While we can’t offer refunds for missed sessions, we do our best to keep learners on track.

Are tutors DBS checked?

Yes. All Tutor Maths tutors are experienced educators based in the UK and hold an enhanced DBS check. Safeguarding is at the heart of how we operate online.

Can we continue after the first 4 weeks?

Absolutely. Many families choose to book consecutive blocks. We’ll recommend whether ongoing support is useful for your child and can keep them in the same group where possible.
